Asgi is revolutionizing the footwear industry with its Soleplex technology, a pioneering comfort system that supports the natural contours of the foot, while creating an entirely new fashion look. The Soleplex technology consists of three main parts, the footbed and stabilizer, the chassis and the pods, creating a first-of-its-kind comfort system that is luxurious both in look and feel.
"Asgi is designing footwear from the inside-out to build shoes that support the foot naturally and comfortably, said Pat Hogan, CEO, Asgi. "The launch of our pumps and boots give professional women a footwear option that is both comfortable and stylish."
The Soleplex technology gives Asgi shoes an entirely new fashion look. The outsole of the shoe, which serves as the foundation of the Soleplex system, is composed of rubber pods strategically placed to provide impact-absorbing cushioning.
While the unique open pods create an innovative look, Asgi's footwear incorporates the finest materials including hand-selected, full-grain leathers from Italy and Brazil. The stylish designs from Asgi's Signature Collection are created in a studio near Venice, Italy. The shoes feature a wide selection of the latest colors, patterns and textures.
The Signature Collection includes the Marcy Mary Jane, Dolce Pump, Carina Bootie, Roma Bootie and Diva Bootie and retails for $175 to $250. The fall line features beautiful silhouettes and materials including suede, nappa and calfskin leathers and the latest textures such as quilting, perforations and luxurious leather treatments. The shoes also feature classic fall colors including black, brown, grey, popular metallic colors such as silver, pewter and bronze and the season's hottest shade - purple.
"We are very pleased at the early response from consumers who rave about the shoes silhouettes, styles and colors," said Maggi Mercado, lead designer, Asgi. "We're already seeing impressive sales for the fall line."
Asgi's fall line also includes Casual and Sports Collections. The fall Casual Collection adds new designs such as the Iris Loafer and Daisy Ballerina. Asgi's Casual and Sports lines range in price from $134 to $195. Asgi shoes are available in 400 stores throughout the U.S. including select Nordstrom stores and all Walking Company locations. Asgi plans to launch a men's line in 2009. For more information, please visit www.asgishoes.com.
